Disable Refuge

Disabled refuge systems provide 2-way communication to refuge areas (specific areas of building which are deemed relatively safe). Communications to these areas is achieved with a disabled refuge system which facilities rescue services determining which areas require assistance and to reassure those that help is on the way. Building regulations insist that all new non-domestic buildings with more than one storey provide ‘refuge’ areas – relatively safe places where people who cannot easily use fire escapes and evacuation lifts can call for assistance and wait until help arrives.

Precision Fire and Gas offer both Type A and Type B disable refuge from SigTel.
